Preface

Measures has been taken for publication of Local Health Bulletin for the 5th time in 2016. So I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of sadar upazila, Munshiganj. This bulletin contains all the health related information of this upazila of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate health related data of sadar upazila, Munshiganj to other departments both GOS and NGOs. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2015. It will also help us for future planning for development of health status of this Upazila. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future. Last Year we tried to give our maximum efforts to improve the optimal health status. Here I would like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve better result in future. UHC building is very old and it needs renovation. Accommodation facilities for UHFPO, Doctors and other staff not exists and for proper service delivery it is essential. (1) 27 post is vacant. These staffs are very important for smooth running of field activities. (2) Chardomuria sub center is running in a old structural building without electricity. So need for new construction and electricity connection. (3) out of 14 CC there is only three CC has electricity connection, rest 11 CC has no electricity. As early as possible we need electricity connection for rest 11 CC for better activities. (4) We need transport facilities for increasing field activities and proper monitoring.
