Preface

I am very glad to inform you that we have able to publish district local health bulletin of Madaripur. Practically this is an attempt to disseminate information on our annual performance of 2015. This bulletin contains almost all information on health activities of 2015(January-December) about institutions and field services . I hope this health bulletin will help all level managers to analyze health status of our district also will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of the district. This health bulletin will help find out constraints and achievement of 2015. This bulletin also contains the status of MDG -4 & MDG-5 of district. It will also provide information about safe drinking water and sanitation status of this district . Health manpower of this district can be assessed from this bulletin . In this aspect, I would like to draw the attention of concerned authority to fill up vacant posts specially of consultant doctors . If there is any suggestion to improve and correct this bulletin , it will be highly appreciated . Lastly I like to offer thanks to MIS DGHS and other concerned staffs for their cordial cooperation to publish this bulletin .

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
By overcoming a lot of challenges in the last year Kalkini upazil health complex awarded by Honorable Health Minister for best performing & Civil Surgeon office for 2nd top ten in Dhaka Division for HSS. Here we like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve expected result in future. 1. All vacant post of doctors especially consultant post should be filled up 2. Statistician post of Civil Surgeon Office should be filled up immediately. 3. CC camera should be set up at Sadar Hospital to improve health services & to control unexpected issues. 4. Comprehensive EmOC should be established at Kalkini health complex . 5. One new ambulance needed at Sadar Hospital.
