Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Feni District. This bulletin contains all the health related information of this District for 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Feni District to other department and health related development partners. I hope that all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this District. We have many data stored in the file. This health bulletin will provide opportunity to see the results and achievements of 2015and also to identify strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats related to service delivery which would guide to take necessary action for further improvement. It is essential to create awareness among the people regarding service provided by the different health facilities throughout the District. I hope that this bulletin will facilitate effective disseminating information. Our success in preventing diseases through awareness building among people by health education and others services is remarkable. The introduction of DHIS2 (District Health Information Software Version-2) is a great development for digital data management. The benefit will be more visible and tangible in subsequent health bulletins. This bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will to localize the MDG targets. This bulletin also contains information of safe drinking water, sanitation and human resources. I would like to draw kind attention of the higher authority to look the human resource issue. Finally I would like to congratulate all concerned for initiating this health bulletin software and setting us one step ahead in achieving digital Bangladesh as is dreamed by our Honourable Prime Minister.
