Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Last Year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to some issues. By overcoming a lot of challenges in the last year Barisal district became 2nd in EPI performance & awarded by DGHS. Besides for HSS Barisal Civil Surgeon office awarded by Honorable Health Minister for best performing Civil Surgeon office. Wazirpur & Hizla UHC also awarded for HSS. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve expected result in future. 1. vacant posts of Consultants, Doctors, Medical Technologist, Health Assistant & other 3rd & 4th Class staffs should be filled up immediately. 2. extension works from 31 to 50 beds of Bakergong, Babugang & Muladi UHC should be completed as early as possible. 3. Existing condemned hospital building of Muladi UHC should be replaced by construction of new building. 4. Repair & renovation works of 130 community Clinics, 29 USC & all UHC should be done on emergency basis. 5. Construction of new building for Sekarpur USC of Wazirpur, Lata USc of Mehandigonj & Dehargoti USC of Babugang should be done. 6. Comprehensive EmOC should be established at Mehendigang, Hizla, Bakergonj & Gournadi UHC. 7. Manpoiwer, MSR & diet should be sanctioned for upgraded Upazila Health complex. 8. supply of speed boat for Civil Surgeon office & water ambulance for mehandigong UHC with driver. 9. Supply of equipments & funniture for UHC & USC. 10. Electricity connection for all community clinic & USC, 11. Sadar Hospital under the disposal of Civil Surgeon.
