Preface

Gazipur Sadar hospital is a 100 beded District Hospital. It has outdoor, indoor and emergency services. Every day approx. 500 - 600 patients receive outdoor service, 200 - 300 Patients visits emergency deptt and 100 - 120 patients get admitted in indoor depett of hospital. We have specialized doctors in Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynae, Eye, E N T & Orthopedics. They provide health services to admitted patients as well as outdoor patients. We have also laboratory & radiology facilities. There is ambulance service for referral cases. This hospital provides medico-legal examination and post mortem facilities, family planning services, Immunization (EPI, Anti RabiesVaccination) as well. In spite of all these facilities we have some lackings too. There are no posts for indoor and emergency Medical officers, Junior mechanics, Statistician & Security guard. At present there is some accommodation problem for admitted patients. New hospital building is under construction which will meet the demand in future. If it is possible to provide standard manpower for 100 beded district hospital, this hospital will be able to provide highest level of quality health services to the people of Gazipur district. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Health Bulletin is dynamic approach in health sector towards digital Bangladesh.We appreciate and express thanks for taking initiative in this regard.Common people will be able to know and solve their health related problems from existing health facilities.Govt.Non Govt, Autonomous bodies,Private organization and International agencies will be benefited from various data of health bulletin.Existing gap between planning and execution will reduce.Facilities and lacking could be properly identified and steps towards correction should be easier in time.There may have some shortage of information but we hope it will be enriched in future.
