Preface

General Hospital,Chittagong is one of the oldest hospitals,established in 1901. It is being run with 250 beds since 1st February 2012. It is Serving to a huge number of people all over the chittagong. Regional Tuberculosis Referance laboratory (RTRL) is situated here. A Coronary Care Unit (8-beded) CCU is going to be established soon.Thanks to MIS team of DGHS to Publish the yearly ``Health Bulletin`` having all the health statistics of our achievements towards MDGS.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
General Hospital Chittagong starts functioning since 1st February` 2012 but still it is lack of adequate manpower. We have optimistic approach to be a fully functional hospital with adequate manpower as per organogram for which we need a cordial support of the Ministry of Health,Ministry of Finance and relevant departments.
