Preface

I am very glad to know that the e-health bulletin is going to be published from 250 Bedded General Hospital, Kushtia. This health bulletin contains all the health related information of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of 250 Bedded General Hospital, Kushtia which will help the development partners of health sectors. These data of this health bulletin will help for planning and bridgening the gaps and laps in health services of Kushtia district. This health bulletin will help us to find out different information , results and activities of 2015.We already achived the 1st best Health Minister National Award for Health System Strengthening (HSS) in 2015. We also achived the 1st best Health Minister National Award for Health System Strengthening (HSS) in Khulna Division & 2nd best Health Minister National Award for Health System Strengthening (HSS) in Bangladesh for best Hospital performance in 2014. E-health bulletin reflects the local sustainable development goal (SDG). We have published our local health bulletin successfully last year. We hope and think that we should make our local health bulletin better and dynamic than before. I would like to congratulate and thank to all the initiators as well as to Proff. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Here I would like to mention some important factors which will help us to achive better results in future. 1. This 250 Bedded General Hospital is running with 150 beds hospital manpower. Moreover, this hospital has been announced Kushtia Medical College Hospital (Temporary Campus). So, the strength of manpower should be raised up to the standard setting of 250 Bedded General Hospital or Medical College Hospital 2. All the vacant post should be filled up immediatly especially for Outsoursing post as well as Sn. Con (Medicine, Surgery, Otho-Surgery, Eye , Peadriatic & Anesthesia) and Jn. Con (Anesthesia) MOs, EMOs, Asstt. Registers, Dental Surgeon,& Anesthetist . 3. All of our Doctors, Nurses as well as other health related personnal need more training for increasing their capacity building on IMCI, ARI, KMC , ICD-10 etc. 4. Bed Occupancy Rate has been raised up to 202.27% in the month of March'2015. So, the number of Beds should be increased from 250 beds to 500 beds immediatly. 5. We need more modern equipments for serving better treatments like MRI, Digital X-ray , ETT, CT Scan, Echocardiogram, Biochemical Analyzer etc. All the repairable instruments should be repaired as soon as possible. Finnaly I am very happy to write this e-health bulletin of 250 Bedded General Hospital,kushtia. Because this data of this document will help us to compare our health progress in upcomming years. This is to say , it is very usefull documents and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the usefull and valuable advice for better health improvement to the patients in future for making Digital Bangladesh.
