Preface

Barguna is a coastal district of the Southern Part of Bangladesh about 400km away from Dhaka. Publication of the health Bulletin on website is a very nice activities and how much activates we do with a few manpower and facilities that could be reflected on website through this Bulletin. Barguna district hospital is a 100 bedded hospital and 250 bedded hospital is under construction as per the promise made by our honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Only five doctors out of 42 sectioned post are working here & 22 nurses out of 39 sectioned post are filled up so far we hope concerned authorities would do the needful accordingly . We are really grateful to our honourable Prime Minister for her gracious initiatives and vision 21 to improve our health service system at an international standard as well as to achieve SDG in near future.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
All sanctioned posts (15) of EMO(3), MO(4) & Assistant Surgeon (8) are lying vacant, so all these posts should be filled up immediately. One senior/junior Consultant of Anesthesia is very much urgent. Allotment of MSR and stationary items should be increased. Residential facilities for doctors & staffs should be allotted.
