Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Important Information and necessary issues you want to raise:- 1. Manpower: In this hospital vacant posts of doctors are 65% and nursing are 49%. There are no 4th class gov. employee, But the works are done by the outsourcing staffs which are not sufficient. All vacant posts should be fulfilled and 4th class employees should be recruited. Otherwise proper health service deliveries could not be improved. 2. ICU: Due to lack of some important machinaries or items and lack of manpower ICU could not be started. Necessary action should be taken as early as possible. 3. Social welfare office: No social welfare activities in the hospital which might be imposed for better service delivery for poor patients management. 4. User fee: About 50 Lacks people live in the greater Dinajpur district. Most of them are poor. They cannot afford the user fee for the necessary investigations. There are some clear-cut instructions about Freedom Fighters with their family, Govt. service holders with their family and the handicapped persons and poor people. But no definition, orders or instructions for the poor peoples. To deliver health services to the neglected and poor peoples there should be a clear-cut instruction or orders from the authorities for collection of user fees. There are some sensational groups like, intern doctors, medical students, nursing students and outsourcing staffs, victims, prisoners those who always expects the user fees for free but there is no instructions to do so, which should be made in kind considerations and to take necessary action. 5. There are some high tech instruments for investigation and treatment like MRI, CT Scan, Dialysis machines, C-Arm machines for angiography and some biochemistry analyser. The necessary items ( Like Films, Reagents etc.) at present are supplied and maintained by the previously scheduled and selected contractors. After ending the warranty periods these investigation and facilities will be stopped. Thus new contract is very much essential to run the facilities further. 6. To mee
