অষ্টাদশ শতকের অর্ধ বঙ্গশ্বেরী রাণী ভবানীর স্মৃতি বিজড়িত বিদগ্ধ প্রকৃতি প্রেমী কবি জীবনানন্দ দাশের কল্পোলোকের প্রেয়সী বনলতা সেন, রসনাতৃপ্ত সু-স্বাদু অবাক সন্দেশ, কাঁচাগোল্লা আর দৃষ্টি নন্দন অপূর্ব কারুকার্য্য খচিত উত্তরা গণভবন খ্যাত বাংলাদেশের দ্বিতীয় রাজধানী ঐতিহ্যবাহী নাটোর জেলার ছোট্র একটি উপজেলা বাগাতিপাড়া। ১৯৪৮ সালের ৮ই আগস্ট জেলা কাউন্সিলের তত্ত্বাবধানে উপজেলার বিহারকোল মোড়ে লক্ষণহাটি দাতব্য চিকিৎসালয় নামে যে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি স্থাপিত হয় সেটিই পরবর্তীকালে সত্তোর দশকের শেষের দিকে থানা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্স নাম ধারণ করে ৩১ শয্যার হাসপাতালে রুপান্তরিত হয়ে এলাকার বিপুল জনগোষ্ঠীকে স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা সেবা প্রদান করে আসছে। এই স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্স থেকে লোকাল হেলথ্‌ বুলেটিন প্রকাশিত হচ্ছে এটা খুবই আনন্দের কথা।
