Preface
I am very glad to publish this Health Bulletin of Jagannathpur Upazila . This Bulletin contains all the Health related information of 2013. The Bulletin is published to disseminate the infomation of Jagannathpur Upazila to other line department and departmental partners Health. Jagannathpur Upazila is the South point of district & 40 km. from district headquarter. It has 40,048 households out of 9 Union. 6 Union are hard to reach and enough haor & river. total population 2,51,809 & area 376.91sq km. most areas of the Upazila is haor, Bowar and low lying area @ communication here is dificult during dry season. Peoples here is dependent on boat in rainy season & on foot on dry season.

Important information and necessary issues for Jagannathpur Upazila Health Complex |
 Aim to be improved the fallowing Service: 1) Improved Service for maternal & neonatal health. 2) Aseptic normal delivery to be increase. 3) Management of the complication like: a) APH b) PPH c) Obstracted labour d) Eclampsia e) Pre eclamsia 4) Emergency Operation like LUCS. Leparotomy ect. 5) Management of the Asplyxiated neonatal baby. Drow back for important :- 1)Shortage of Aya, clener, Nurses, etc. to be filled immediate. 2) Fill up the post of Gynocologist, Anesthetist. 3) O.T. Light & O.T. table should be installed immediately. 4) O.T. Machine may be reccreted. with improvment of all this critaria we will be able to improve over all services of the hospital & this rentder better services for the patient of the localety.
