Overview Leadership Training

The Strategic Leadership and Management Training Program (SLMTP) is a 5-day short course designed for Managers of Health & Family Planning to strengthen their leadership skills to become more effective leaders in the Bangladesh health system. Strengthening health systems needs improved capacity of health managers and leaders for wider ownership of programs and better governance. Planning, Monitoring and Research (PMR) Operational Plan of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Johns Hopkins Bloomberg of Public Health, USA, Department of Public Health and Informatics (DPHI) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have been jointly implementing a Strategic Leadership and Management Training Program since 2016 for Health Managers of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of the Government of Bangladesh.

 


Objective of the training program

This 5-day course is designed to help participants strengthen their leadership skills to become more effective leaders working in health sector of Bangladesh. Specific objectives
